Someone told me once that it is very important to create a community of writers and artists. This is my effort at doing just that. Some of our members have MySpace pages; some do not. But even on MySpace we are not creating the tight community that I believe is essential for all of you to grow. Now we have something open that you can use to show off your talents to each other, to experiment, and to communicate.

1. Teen Writers and Artists Project is a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
2. Find out About Teen Writers and Artists Project.
2. Create your customized home page. You have several templates etc to choose from.
3. Upload your Writing, Artwork, Videos. Blog about anything you want to related to your creativity.
4. Join a group to discuss topics related to your field. May we suggest Poets, Fiction Writers, NaNaWriMo's, LTAB Participants, Adopt an Author, Visual Artists, and Ask an Author.
5. Contact our Young Adult Mentors. They will be happy to show you the ropes and discuss your work with you.

WOW! Yesterday was totally Epic. I was invited to take several students to the TEDxYouth@Midwest conference in Chicago. We saw so many people who have an incredible impact on the world. People from Sandra Day O'Connor (first female Supreme Court Justice) to Pablos Holman (Leading Computer Hacker) to Dean Kamen (Inventor of the Segway and other even more impressive devices). Hi Everybody,
Today I noticed that someone joined the community last Tuesday and filled up 3 pages of discussion boards with advertisements for Viagra etc. This person is gone. As you savvy internet users know, this is nothing but spam and it makes our site look crappy. If you see more of this stuff popping up, please send me an email because it usually comes in waves.
